I honestly would have never found this little gem if I hadn't needed to get gas in the neighborhood. This has obviously changed hands and is now a taqueria. The standalone building is conveniently located near the airport. The restaurant was clean and ample. There is plenty of seating. The food was delicious. The counter service was fast. I definitely recommend.

Skinny's has changed owners. (and it's just as good.) There was a food/taco truck on Virginia Avenue just down from Skinny's and they have taken over ownership. So the big change is Skinny's is now Chilos Taqueria (but the signs haven't changed). The former owners were Korean (and that was featured on the menu). The new owners have kept some of the more popular Korean dishes, wings and burgers. Moreover, they have added numerous Mexican street foods. I had 3 of the tacos plus a horchata. All very good. I recommend it for anyone. Nice presentation with sliced cucumber and radishes.

Great prices on great food. We have been back twice for the fried rice as takeout. Burgers and hotdogs were delicious and I am impressed with the Korean dishes. Doesn't look like much but well worth a visit. Very nice family staff. Great value for what you get.

TL;DR: Great lunch portions for a great price. Surpring menu options! ARRIVAL: It's a small parking lot in front with about 6 spots, so hopefully you get lucky around lunchtime. AMBIANCE: It's a quiet restaurant with a only-diner-in-the-middle-of-nowhere-while-on-a-roadtrip vibes. The atmosphere is a bit empty and cold, but not sterile. You order at the front and they'll call out your name/order when it's ready! There were a few other tables with people dining in pairs or groups. It looks and feels like a place that survives off one-time customers, but I can tell they definitely have small family business vibes and have their regulars. MENU: The lunch menu has great small portion options for about $5! The standard menu is also available with a drink. FOOD: I got the 1/2 philly cheesesteak with tots. The tots aren't seasoned so i dashed some seasoning salt (on the table next to the register), but they were super crispy (just the way I like them). The sandwich was about 3 inches (a half for lunch), but was a bit smaller than i had expected. They don't skimp on the fillings and fill it up the way it would be if it was a full sandwich just cut in half. SERVICE: The staff was very friendly and had conversation with me when I ordered (i think this is standard Southern but I don't usually get it when i'm ordering at the register!). I only saw a team of 2 when I was there. One working the front and maybe something in the kitchen and on dedicated cook. There's a sign that says they're working on getting orders completed quickly to accommodate people on lunch breaks, so that's nice! We opted to dine in when we came, so we weren't in a rush and i didn't pay attention to how long it took, but it wasn't long at all. EXPERIENCE: I'm not super keen on the atmosphere inside as it's just not very welcoming so I may opt for take out the next time I go, but it's close to work and the food and people were nice, so I will definitely be back for lunch! PRICE: Great for a lunch in the area! OVERALL: Really like the lunch portion and prices as I don't always eat lunch early enough and want to be too full! I like that I can eat it all and not have to worry about taking a few bites of leftovers home. A little worried about parking here for lunch, but i can also walk!

Small hole in the wall restaurant with an interesting menu. They have everything from egg rolls/Bibimbap to hot dogs/hamburgers and Philly cheesesteaks. Neither the exterior or interior are impressive. The parking lot is a nightmare but most customers walk over from Deltas HQ. The staff is friendly and the food was ready rather quickly. I ordered the Bibimbap with an egg roll. The Bibimbap was very good except the egg was overcooked for this type of dish. The best part is breaking the yolk into the fried rice, but it was cooked beyond that. I wish it came with more kimchi as well. My colleague has a cheesesteak and was also impressed. Overall, the menu is a somewhat strange and they offer a little bit of everything. As most people know, this isn't a great area and they don't shy away with their gun hanging above the cashiers head.

Skinny's is one of those places that you'd pass by, thinking that it's just some random old school place. It is not. Skinny's is actually home to some of the best bibimbap and hot dogs you're going to find here in Atlanta. The staff is super friendly, they'll call you by name and greet you with a smile. The food is awesome. I'm not a hot dog expert or anything...I probably only have them at 2 am when at a QT; but I have actually gone out of my way to get a hot dog here. And the Bibimbap? Delcious. It's a slightly spicy Korean fried rice with a meat (beef or chicken), kimchi, some other veggies, and topped with an egg. If you've never had it before I fully recommend it. Give Skinny's a shot. They're awesome.

Let's just say that we definitely have drove by this place a ton of times and NEVER realized that it was such a gem.. today while driving through I decided to just take a chance on a place that had good reviews from my fellow yelpers and I am glad I did. As soon as we walked in we were greeted and our order was taken.. we got a chopped cheesesteak & fries, a cheeseburger & fries and lemon pepper wings with chicken fried rice.. Less than 10 minutes later our orders were ready and the lovely lady who made them came and brought them to the table. She also cut my daughter's cheeseburger in half for her. That was a definite mom move and I really appreciated her for it... We loved our food and will be back for sure, my chicken fried rice was so fresh and although my wings were not humongous they were delicious, my daughter finished all of her food and my husband's bread was so soft on his cheesesteak it felt like a pillow..on our way out the owner told me bye using my name another personable touch that I honestly think made my day..
